Description of the project

We feel the need to cooperate with art schools in Europe if we wish to foster our students’ creativity, well-being and achieve better learning outcomes. Many of our students need special attention because of different problems; on the other hand, among our students many are extraordinarily talented. Teacher often face a challenging task, despite their open mindedness, how to effectively work with such a diverse population. Life-long learning is the key.

Our goals:

Our goals are to improve the quality of teaching and learning, to improve communication skills and intercultural competencies of our students and staff and to include more sustainable practices in day-to-day functioning of our school.
The activities we plan will be carried out at educational institutions with programs, similar to ours. Some teachers will attend training courses. Through International Print Biennial, we will strengthen the ties with the schools we have cooperated before.

Expected outcomes:

Expected intangible outocomes are new and improved teaching methods, which will not be used only by the participants of the mobilities but also by other staff members. We expect the staff and students to achieve a broader understanding of systems in education across Europe, increased motivation, increased competence in foreign languages and intercultural competencies, more sustainable practices at school. In the framework of students’ activities there will also be some tangible results – art works.
